The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to significant change across the health care landscape, including right here in Northeast Wisconsin. In order to adapt to this ever-changing environment, operate more efficiently, and ensure we are able to thrive for our patients and communities well into the future, we have had to make some very difficult, but necessary decisions.

We have discontinued inpatient and residential adolescent care for the foreseeable future. With the addition of telemedicine, and our attention to safely treating patients in person, we have focused our efforts on providing high-quality outpatient care.. This decision did not come lightly, as we recognize that substance use disorder is, in itself, a public health crisis and has been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. We remain committed to all of our patients with substance use disorders during this time, and are prepared to support our adolescent patients with the care and resources they need.

Thank you for choosing Libertas Treatment Center for your health care needs, and, for your patience and understanding during this time. We are dedicated to providing high quality of care to the Northeast Wisconsin community now and long into the future. In spite of these changes, we remain fully committed to making a positive impact in your life, and the lives of your loved ones.

A treatment center focusing on recovery programs for substance use disorder, Libertas offers outpatient treatment for adolescents in Green Bay and Marinette.

Libertas is here to serve young adults with compassion and support for families. At Libertas, adolescent recovery begins with a comprehensive assessment process with a licensed substance abuse counselor:
  • Parent interview
  • Adolescent interview
  • Drug screening
  • Psychosocial history intake
From that assessment, the appropriate level of care for each individual is determined.
